Little Friends

Little Friends... We are so blessed to be taking on the adventure of parenting at the same time as so many of our friends. It's so fun watching our kiddos interact... and most aren't even mobile yet... the days to come are sure to be entertaining... especially after E&C join the gang!!!

Cheerios

Our new favorite food... cheerios! We love them so much that we just HAD to get into the box after dinner tonight... oh, and in case you were wondering, mom had JUST swept the floor...

The Simple Pleasures

Jace has discovered our stairway! A couple of weeks ago, Jace decided to try climbing our staircase. He was able to climb a few stairs on his own, but needed a little "help" for the rest. Well, it doesn't take long for him to catch on- not only can he scale the entire staircase on his own but, has decided that he not only LoVeS climbing the stairs but, thinks it's hilarious to crawl up a couple steps... and then fall down to the bottom (with dad to catch him, of course). This has become a nightly ritual and keeps us on our toes... there have been a couple times that he isn't patient enough to wait for mom or dad to catch him... usually ending up in a few tears, a hug, and then back at it again!

A Trip to J'Maries... first haircut

We ventured West yesterday morning for Jace's first haircut. His hair definitely doesn't hold a candle to Miss. Cori's but... he was still in need of a trim. Thanks Jillian!

Happy 9 Months!

These past 9 months with Jace have brought many smiles, loud laughs, a few tears, lots and lots (and lots!) of learning, and never-ending adventures. We pray daily that we are parenting in a way that is honoring to Christ and a blessing to Jace. We love you so much Jacers!

Tonka Truck

The newest edition to our "toy box" is Jace's Tonka truck. He likes being able to walk and push the truck but LOVES being pushed across the floor and it's definitely added even MORE of a "boy" flare to our living room.

Just a Random Post

I don't have anything specific to say... life just seems to be truckin' along... and not waiting for me to catch up! So, here are some recent picts of Jace and his adventures. Hopefully we will have some 9 month pictures to share soon- can you believe it... 9 months tomorrow!

I am pretty sure we tried having laundry basket races in college (ohh the "Garden Level" days)... but I doubt they were as much fun as the ones that have taken place in our living room the past few weeks.

We have tried for YEARS to get Morgan or Bentley to sit still while they hold a treat on their nose... 9 months and he has it mastered! Wooohooo!

Crawling all over the place has it's disadvantages. Jace seems to think that the linoleum in the kitchen is too hard for his little knees so... he ONLY bear crawls across hard surfaces.

Spring Break

It's officially the first day (of 3) of Spring Break. Jace and I decided to take advantage of this unseasonably warm weather (highs in the 70's today!), and head to the park. He is still a little young to fully enjoy the equipment but we enjoyed ourselves anyway.
