@ two years old
- you are incredibly smart! your vocabulary has expanded over the last six months from short sentences to stories at length. there isn't much that gets by you... everyday you learn (and remember) something new. you are a well-spoken two year old. i wish i would have written down/recorded all of your "one-liners" over the past few months. you have even started using words such as; probably, sometimes, and usually, in your sentences.
- you are fast. you love to run, hop, skip, jump, throw, climb, splash, and kick. you are built exactly like your dad... hopefully you will enjoy sports as much as he did too. you are sure on your feet and have definitely impressed your dad with your long jumping skills already!
- you are a wonderful big brother. you love jaron so much... it makes me smile when i think about it. the first person you ever said that you loved (without prompting of course), was to jaron. you are constantly hugging him and talking to him. jaron lights up anytime you are in the room... he watches your every move. i cannot wait to see the two of you interact when jaron is a little bigger. you are a good helper and often hand jaron toys in the car, find his blankie, or smile at him when he is sad and tell him "it's ok jaroncharles... it's ok"
- you A.D.O.R.E. your dad! when he gets home at night you are inseparable. you want to follow him everywhere (to the shop, to the grill, even to the bathroom) and do everything with him (play in your room, play tackle, run outside). i love that the two of you have such a close relationship. everywhere we go we are told that you look just like him... it's fun to see how proud of you he is! you are definitely a "splitting image" of your dad. i pray that you will grow to be a god-honoring, loving husband and father... just like your dad.
- you have close relationships with all of your grandparents. you know that; grandma schukar has horses and bought you your gator, grandpa schukar likes to golf (you point it out EVERY time we drive by the golf course) & lets you eat candy, you and papa go back and forth about EVERYTHING (what brand his wheelchair is "pronto" vs. "john deere", when he is "chasing" you, that you are "fine" when climbing on the table) but you won't leave with out telling him "see you later alligator... bye crocodile", and nammy is the person you go to when you want to find mulberries, go to the garden, mow, or play farm animals with.
- things you like; tractors, four-wheelers, combines, grain carts, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Where's Waldo, skyping with Aunt Tif, running with the dogs outside, playing in the mud, fruit-snacks, pretending to drink pop or coffee from your sippy cup, doing anything "by yourself" (getting in your carseat, buckling your chair, dressing yourself, fixing things with dad's tools, being tickled, having your back rubbed)
- things you aren't fond of; tomatoes, going to sleep at night, gorillas at the zoo, water in your eyes, sitting still, fuzz, your door closed at night, the "bright sun" in your eyes while riding in the car)
